Reception Shift Leader Job Description

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is working in partnership with a popular hotel in London to find a skilled Reception Shift Leader to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the Reception team to meet and exceed standards
  • Handle complaints or queries in an efficient and professional manner
  • Maximise room sales by dealing with all enquiries and sales leads
  • Complete reception duties, including checking guests in and out, dealing with postings, balancing and banking
  • Monitor revenue figures and ensure targets are met
  • Ensure the hotel switchboard is answered as per company standards, with all messages correctly handled and processed to guest rooms immediately
  • Assist with training and mentoring new staff
  • Help the manager with any other work needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a hotel Receptionist within a 4 or 5-star hotel background
  • Ideal knowledge of the London corporate and leisure market
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience
  • Proficiency with Opera PMS

As a successful Reception Shift Leader, you will have a strong understanding of customer service and be able to lead a team to deliver exceptional results. If you have the skills and experience required for this role, we would like to hear from you.
