About the Opportunity

NHS Scotland is one of the largest healthcare providers in the region, offering a range of health services to nearly 1 million people in Edinburgh and the Lothians. Our aim is to help people live healthier, longer lives, regardless of their background or location. We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our Finance team and contribute to shaping the future of healthcare in Scotland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with dynamic and enthusiastic professionals to make a positive impact on healthcare services.
  • Analyze complex data to understand the story behind the numbers and provide valuable insights to key decision-makers and health leaders.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to improve performance and benchmark across services.
  • Educate and train non-financial colleagues on financial matters and learn from them as well.
  • Scrutinize performance and identify areas for improvement.

What We Offer

  • 37 hours per week
  • Opportunity for flexible working hours
  • Starting from 27 days annual leave + 8 days public holiday per annum (35 days leave in total)
