About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Enforcement Officer to join our team in Sutton, SM1 area. As an Environmental Enforcement Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our vision to make the UK a cleaner, safer, and greener place to live.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out foot patrols in hot spot areas to identify and address environmental and anti-social behaviour.
  • Engage with members of the public, issue fixed penalty notices, and report matters that could lead to prosecution.
  • Work closely with the Local Authority to achieve our shared goals.

Requirements:

  • Experience of engaging with members of the public face-to-face.
  • Ability to act with integrity, honesty, and respect in challenging situations.
  • Professional approach, balanced sense of judgment, and ability to use your own initiative.
