Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Enforcement Officer to join our team at Apcoa Parking. As a Senior Environmental Enforcement Officer, you will play a key role in enforcing local laws and regulations to protect the local environment and community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with environmental regulations and laws.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to identify and address environmental issues.
  • Respond to complaints and concerns from the public and stakeholders.
  • Supervise and manage a team of Environmental Enforcement Officers to ensure effective delivery of services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve environmental compliance and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Waste Management Manager and Environmental Health Manager, to achieve shared goals.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of environmental incidents and enforcement activities.

Requirements:

  • At least one year's experience in a supervisory role, preferably in environmental enforcement or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full clean driving license.
