Environmental Enforcement Officer

Are you passionate about protecting the environment and enforcing local laws? Do you have experience in enforcement work and enjoy working outdoors? We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Environmental Enforcement Officer to join our team at Apcoa Parking UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce local laws to protect the area from litter, dog fouling, and other breaches
  • Help members of the public, patrol the streets, and uphold environmental conduct
  • Take action on councillor and public enquiries/complaints regarding local environmental quality and anti-social behaviour
  • Plan and submit relevant cases for trial, working with legal services to present cases to court
  • Ensure effective and efficient recording of work details and case progression, using computer software
  • Build good working relations with key service areas and other key agencies, including the Police
  • Have knowledge of environmental services such as cleansing and waste collection
  • Develop, implement, and follow policies/processes, and deal with complaints and resolve complex issues
  • Work flexible hours and act as cover for other enforcement staff during periods of absence
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Health and Safety and data protection when dealing with confidential matters
