About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Modeller to join our team at Arup, a global leader in the water industry. As a key member of our technical delivery team, you will be responsible for leading a team of junior modellers and delivering a broad range of UK projects at all stages, from strategic advice to post-construction evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver wastewater network modelling projects, including model build and flow survey verification, to industry standards and specifications.
  • Develop and review technical reports, models, supporting calculations, and deliverables, as well as assist with bid preparation and proposals.
  • Collaborate with private and public sector clients and regulators to deliver water projects in the UK.
  • Develop and review digital tools to enhance, optimise, and automate our offering.
Requirements
  • Practical experience in hydraulic modelling techniques within the UK water industry, specifically using InfoWorks ICM, including Level 1 UPM water quality modelling.
  • Chartered or close to chartership with an appropriate organisation.
  • Strong client relationship management skills and confidence in presenting results, challenges, and proposals in a productive, collaborative working environment.
