Job Summary

Dorsett Hospitality International is seeking a skilled and experienced Floor Supervisor to join our dynamic Housekeeping Team at Dorsett City London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of room attendants, floor porters, and agency staff to ensure exceptional cleanliness standards are maintained in our guest rooms, back of house, and public areas.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct the room attendants and porters to ensure efficient and effective room cleaning and maintenance.
  • Supervise the distribution of work assignments to room attendants and porters to optimize productivity and quality.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to deliver exceptional service and maintain a respectful rapport with guests and colleagues.
  • Collaborate closely with the reception team to ensure a seamless flow of serviced guest rooms as per occupancy requirements.
  • Report any maintenance issues or defects found in rooms and assigned areas to the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Ensure soft furnishings and décor of rooms are maintained to the highest standard, reporting any defects or special cleaning requirements to the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
  • Deliver daily briefings to the team to ensure everyone is aware of their responsibilities and tasks.
  • Working knowledge of Opera is highly desirable.
