Job Title: Floor Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a Floor Supervisor to join our dynamic Housekeeping Team at Dorsett City, London. As a Floor Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the activities of room attendants, floor porters, and agency staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained in our guest rooms, back of house, and public areas.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct room attendants and porters to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
- Supervise the distribution of work assignments to room attendants and porters.
- Handle guest requests and enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Motivate the team and create a respectful rapport with guests and colleagues.
- Work closely with reception to ensure a constant flow of serviced guest rooms as per occupancy requirements.
- Report any maintenance items or defects found in rooms and assigned areas.
- Ensure soft furnishings and décor of rooms are maintained to standard, reporting any defects or special cleaning to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Conduct training sessions where appropriate.
- Carry out daily briefings with the team.
- Desirable working knowledge of Opera.
