Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team in a leadership role. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to individuals with autism, complex needs, and challenging behaviors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Support Workers in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, complex needs, and challenging behaviors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote independence and well-being.
- Collaborate with the Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the service, including allocating shifts, booking training, and inducting new colleagues.
- Support with supervision, medication management, and financial support for individuals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and support.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Experience working with individuals with autism, complex needs, and challenging behaviors.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
