About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Casual Nursery Worker to join our team at Grandir UK's Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Writtle. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a positive role model to ensure the maintenance of Grandir UK values
  • Ensure equality of access and opportunity for all staff, parents, and children
  • Supervise and support children at all times, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development
  • Contribute to maintaining a welcoming and attractive environment, ensuring the nursery is a safe and happy space for our children
  • Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners, promoting learning and development
  • Read, understand, and implement all company policies, procedures, and operational practices, ensuring compliance and adherence
  • Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage, promoting excellence in childcare and education
  • Notify your line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures, and operational practices, maintaining open communication
  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for children, parents, visitors, and colleagues
  • Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained, respecting the privacy of our children and families
  • Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings, and undertake training as required, staying up-to-date with best practices in childcare and education
