Care Home Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Home Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our care home team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Home Manager and ensuring the smooth running of the care home.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and complete financial records in line with company policies and procedures.
- Manage rosters and maintain a reliable time and attendance system to ensure the efficient operation of the care home.
- Deal with HR administration responsibilities as required, including processing receipts of monies and preparing financial information for invoicing purposes.
- Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Home Manager, including typing, filing, and dealing with correspondence.
- Attend to reception duties, including answering telephone calls and welcoming visitors.
- Manage stationery supplies and staff uniforms.
- Arrange and calculate monthly stock takes and costs.
- Banking cheques and cash on a weekly basis.
- Line management responsibilities for receptionist, including conducting supervisions and appraisals.
- Previous experience working in a Care Home setting is ideal, although we can consider other healthcare backgrounds.
- Understanding of CQC requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel and ability to pick up other in-house systems.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Friendly, confident, and customer-focused.
- Professional telephone manner.
- Genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Satisfactory Enhanced DBS Check.
