We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Care Home Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our care home team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the home.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and complete financial records, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Manage rosters and maintain a reliable time and attendance system to ensure the efficient running of the care home.
- Provide administrative support to the Home Manager, including typing, filing, and dealing with correspondence.
- Attend to reception duties, including answering telephone calls and welcoming visitors.
- Manage stationery supplies and staff uniforms, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
- Arrange and calculate monthly stock takes and costs, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Process receipts of monies and prepare financial information for invoicing purposes.
- Line management responsibilities for receptionist, including conducting supervisions and appraisals.
- Previous experience working in a care home setting is ideal, although we can consider other healthcare backgrounds.
- Understanding of CQC requirements is essential.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel, with the ability to pick up other in-house systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a friendly, confident, and customer-focused approach.
- Professional telephone manner and a genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with a satisfactory Enhanced DBS Check.
