Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Build Specialist to join our team at EVera Recruitment. As a key member of our research and development team, you will play a pivotal role in the bespoke conversion of classic vehicles to electric drive.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Building client vehicles through to handover, ensuring exceptional quality and attention to detail.
  • Collaborating with our engineering team on build specifications and design, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Maintaining accurate build records, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Identifying areas for operational improvements, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Ensuring team compliance with quality assurance processes, contributing to a culture of excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience with metal fabrication, including sheet metal, welding, and machining.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience with reading and understanding engineering drawings, with a strong understanding of technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.) and familiarity with business tools such as Asana, Jira, etc.
