Quantity Surveyor - Retrofit

Parker Jones Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in a Retrofit role. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing projects from contract award to final account agreement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, price, and evaluate tenders to ensure accurate project costs
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget
  • Manage project costs, including CVR reporting and forecasting
  • Report progress to senior management, providing regular updates on project status
  • Administer sub-contractor accounts, ensuring timely payment and compliance with contractual obligations
  • Prepare and submit applications for payment, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing
  • Agree final accounts and complete required client documentation to facilitate client approval
Requirements:
  • Professional qualification (e.g. HNC/HND/Degree/Diploma) or equivalent
  • Previous experience in planned works projects, preferably with a background in Retrofit
  • Experience working with bills of quantities, schedules of rates, and commercial management
  • Extensive experience in procurement and subcontractor management
  • Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of monthly reporting and CVR forecasting
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines
