Primary Care Pharmacist

Job Summary:
NHS Scotland is seeking a skilled pharmacist to join our team in Aberdeen City. As a Primary Care Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as a pharmacist across GP practices, covering all aspects of medicines management and pharmacotherapy.
- Provide expert advice on medicines use and management to healthcare professionals and patients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of local and national guidelines for medicines use.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote quality, cost-effective prescribing and improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in the ongoing provision and innovation of the pharmacotherapy service across Aberdeen City.
Requirements:
- Degree in Pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Broad clinical knowledge and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good IT skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work in any location in Aberdeen city.
