Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of pharmacy staff in primary care, providing clinical leadership and guidance to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement clinical priorities for the team, considering clinical, financial, and operational implications.
- Work closely with GP Practice Teams, promoting NHS Lothian's values of quality, teamwork, care, and compassion.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in pharmaceutical care, driving change and development within the service.
- Contribute to the development and education of others, sharing your expertise and knowledge to enhance the skills of the team.
- Postgraduate qualification at diploma level in pharmacy.
- Experience working in a patient-focused clinical environment, using knowledge and skills to improve patient care and promote optimal outcomes from medicines.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and support a team in primary care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with patients, staff, and GP Practice Teams.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
