About the Role:

This is a client-facing position that requires end-to-end project management across the project lifecycle to meet defined time, cost, technical performance & quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish effective project controls, governance, and processes to manage the project.
  • Work with the client and key stakeholders to drive the master project schedule, holding the team to account on key deliverables, reporting upon risk and early warnings to advise the client of key decisions or items of escalation.
  • Prepare funding requirements / supporting business case development for client approval prior to execution of the works.
  • Develop and manage effective communication and liaison with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure that requirements are identified, assessed, and appropriately integrated into the project.
  • Work with a team that strives for quality, safety, cost and schedule improvements at every opportunity with all delivery partners, challenging and seeking to improve the project deliverables.
  • Coordinate, plan and manage internal and external meetings in relation to the project, facilitating information exchange and clarifications.
  • Prepare various project health reports, ability to communicate both up and downstream presenting within project team, and client organisation.
  • Effectively manage scope and costs creep, reporting of early warning, and overall financial performance of a project for both Mace and the client.
  • Provide input into client systems including health, safety & wellbeing, project risk assessment and management process to mitigate risk for safe working regimes.
  • Monitor key performance management techniques to drive value to the client, capturing knowledge, lessons learned and sharing within the Mace organisation.
