About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to lead our day-to-day FM operations, ensuring compliance and health and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Line manage and develop direct reports responsible for hard and soft services delivery.
  • Project manage capital refurbishment projects and small works, and lead on Masterplan works.
  • Liaise with service partners to reconcile variable costs and ensure contracted services meet agreed standards.
  • Manage fixed assets and inform the Venue Operations Director of legacy plant and machinery life cycles.
  • Lead on sustainability planning and environmental matters.
  • Review and maintain the Centre's Business Continuity plan arrangements.
  • Provide strategic and operational input to major contracts, including Hard Services, Cleaning, Reception, and Porterage.
  • Create a strategy for PPM and ensure statutory compliance objectives are met.
Requirements
  • Technical qualification in engineering, electrical, or other hard services.
  • Broad knowledge of hard services and ability to challenge contractors and propose alternative solutions.
  • Recent experience in an FM leadership role overseeing multiple contracts and services.
  • Leadership skills, mentoring, and coaching ability, and relationship building.
  • Skill and aptitude to see the big picture and detail, with a service-focused approach.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Competency in creating service level agreements and key performance indicators.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Recognised UK Health and Safety qualification(s).
