Residential Care Support Worker OpportunityWe are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Care Support Worker to join a growing team providing specialized nursing care to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of individuals requiring support and guidance.
Responsibilities:- Provide emotional and mental health support to residents, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration, ensuring residents' comfort and well-being.
- Monitor residents' physical and emotional health, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate team members.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of personalized care plans, tailoring support to meet individual needs.
- A genuine passion for working with individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts, demonstrating commitment to providing consistent support.
- NVQ's and restraint training are desirable but not essential. Experience working with individuals who exhibit challenging behaviors is highly valued.
