Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at Nationwide. As a key member of our Financial Reporting team, you will play a crucial role in the production of our FINREP reporting to the PRA and help identify and implement improvements/efficiencies in the reporting process.
This role will suit someone with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, knowledge of accounting and financial reporting activities, and the ability to work with a large volume of data. You will support the Finance Manager and the Head of External Financial Reporting, taking primary responsibility for producing reports, understanding reported information, maintaining quality assurance and control.
As a role model within the team, you will need to deliver to tight regulatory deadlines, while following internal controls frameworks and performing quality reviews. You will also be responsible for driving the implementation of efficiencies and improvements within FINREP, playing an important part in the ongoing financial success of the Finance & Efficiency Community and helping towards the achievement of Nationwide's strategic goals.
About You- You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong Excel skills, particularly with formulae such as vlookup, sumproduct, and sumif.
