Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Lead and supervise your shift, ensuring that all care staff are working effectively and efficiently.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.
- Case Management
- Manage the care of our residents, liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure that the best care plans are created and delivered.
- Conduct regular reviews of care plans to ensure that they remain effective and relevant.
- Medication Administration
- Administer and record medication as required, ensuring that all medication is given in accordance with our policies and procedures.
- Risk Assessment
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks and take steps to mitigate them.
- Teamwork
- Work closely with care assistants to support residents with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Provide guidance and support to care assistants to ensure that they are able to provide the highest standard of care.
- Qualifications
- National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Experience
- Proven experience of working in a care environment, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
