Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Lead and supervise your shift, ensuring that all care staff are working effectively and efficiently.
    • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.
  • Case Management
    • Manage the care of our residents, liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure that the best care plans are created and delivered.
    • Conduct regular reviews of care plans to ensure that they remain effective and relevant.
  • Medication Administration
    • Administer and record medication as required, ensuring that all medication is given in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Risk Assessment
    • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks and take steps to mitigate them.
  • Teamwork
    • Work closely with care assistants to support residents with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
    • Provide guidance and support to care assistants to ensure that they are able to provide the highest standard of care.
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • Proven experience of working in a care environment, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
