About the Role

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking an exceptional Care Home Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional care and services to our residents. As a seasoned professional in the care sector, you will be responsible for managing staff and resources to ensure a dignified and fulfilling life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Oversee and manage a team of care professionals to ensure high-quality care and services are delivered to our residents.
  • Clinical Leadership: Work closely with our Clinical Lead and healthcare teams to ensure the quality of individual service and care consistently meets high standards and those of our external regulators.
  • Operational Excellence: Create and lead a vision for the home to ensure a philosophy of continuous improvement, encouraging and supporting the home's journey to 'outstanding'.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall resident experience.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin or NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience: Previous experience of managing a care home, with a proven track record of CQC standards and a good working knowledge of CQC regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain excellent working relationships at all levels, internal and external professionals, families, and visitors.
  • Business Acumen: Proven record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, with experience of running a commercially successful, good or outstanding rated care home.
