Job Description:

We are delighted to be supporting our longstanding client, a leading business in the UK, with their current requirement for a Senior Legal Counsel. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to join a small team and take on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert legal advice on contract law, consumer law, data protection, IP, and competition law
  • Supervising a junior solicitor and providing guidance and support
  • Working closely with the senior leadership team and board to drive business growth and development
  • Contributing to the development of business strategy and policy
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in law and regulation and advising the business accordingly

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Legal Counsel or equivalent
  • Proven track record of providing expert legal advice and guidance
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, consumer law, data protection, IP, and competition law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
