We are working with a successful wealth management organisation in Stockport to recruit for a Senior IFA Administrator to join their growing administration function.

About the Role

This IFA business has been established for nearly 20 years, with a strong staff count and an ever-growing team. They were formed with several clear goals, and continue to build their name in the market for being straightforward financial advisers. This business has a great culture and really nurtures their staff, allowing people to carve out their own careers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process new business from start to completion
  • Prepare portfolio valuations and produce illustrations
  • Assist advisers with research and report writing
  • Arrange meetings with clients for the advisers
  • Handle client requests and queries
  • Prepare suitability reports for the approval of the Financial Adviser in line with the company policy
  • Send reports and investment information to clients
  • Accurately submit data on the system for clients
  • Ensure work is completed in specified timelines
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in an IFA or financial planning firm
  • Experience of report writing and research
  • Strong administration skill set
  • Great communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Up-to-date with current FCA Legislation
  • Knowledge of various providers and software such as Intelligent Office (IO) and FE Analytics
