Exciting Opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Kenton Black in Birmingham, UK. As a key member of our Structures team, you will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of our projects and leading a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure and record work in accordance with company procedures.
  • Interpret specifications and drawings to prepare Bills of Quantities and Schedules of rates.
  • Review and plan commercial activities to meet monthly timescales.
  • Collate cost and value information and prepare Cost reconciliation statements.
  • Submit and agree Adjustment Events with clients.
  • Collect information required to specify procurement requirements.
  • Assist the Procurement function as needed.
Requirements:
  • BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working as a Managing Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor in the civil engineering sector.
