Youth Connect South West (YCSW) is a charitable organization dedicated to empowering young individuals in Bath and North East Somerset. Our mission is to provide diverse services that enable young people to thrive in the present, prepare for the future, and realize their aspirations.

We are currently looking for a committed and enthusiastic Supportive Educational Assistant to assist students with special educational needs (SEN) and those facing emotional or behavioral challenges. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Key Workers to prepare and execute tailored education plans (IEPs) and daily routines. Your support will be vital in managing challenging behaviors and fostering a constructive learning atmosphere.

This position also entails offering emotional and social guidance to students, facilitating their engagement with the curriculum, and encouraging participation in various college activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of students to and from college, appointments, and extracurricular events as required.
