Job Title: Head Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Elior, a leading contract caterer in the UK. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading a team of chefs and supporting the culinary operations of our prestigious sports venues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of chefs to deliver high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain and control food stocks within budget, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Ensure ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting, and client liaison to enable operational excellence.
  • Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies, and duty of care to customers and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership ability with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Genuine interest in customer service excellence.
  • Focused on the front line.
  • Catering experience essential with chef skills.
  • 2+ years experience as Head Chef or Sous Chef ready for their next step.
