As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in fostering a culture of safety and well-being across all aspects of the business. You will act as a champion for our LIFE principles, ensuring their successful implementation and driving positive outcomes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with operational teams to develop and implement robust safety practices aligned with our LIFE strategy.
- Facilitate open communication channels within the @one Alliance, identifying opportunities for improvement and promoting a safety-driven culture.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and assurance visits, ensuring compliance with both Alliance and legal requirements.
- Deliver comprehensive training programs, including LIFE orientation, Passport to Work, and site briefings, to enhance employee knowledge and capabilities.
- Develop and implement effective measures to assess the impact of safety initiatives and their contribution to the overall success of the Alliance.
- Actively participate in pan-Alliance forums to share best practices and contribute to innovative safety initiatives.
Your Skills and Experience:
To excel in this role, you will possess a NEBOSH Construction Certificate and a Technical grade (or above) membership of IOSH. Your CSCS Safety Professional card will be essential, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build trust and respect with colleagues at all levels.
Your passion for safety will drive your commitment to creating environments where individuals and teams can thrive. You will always be willing to provide support and guidance when needed. A full clean UK driving licence is required for site visits.
