Job Opportunity for a Dedicated SEN Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join our dynamic team at GSL Education. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with severe learning difficulties, including those with autism and/or challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tailored educational plans to meet the unique needs of each pupil.
  • Collaborate with the support staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
  • Work closely with the school's leadership team to ensure that the school's vision and values are upheld.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and policies.

Requirements:

  • QTS and a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEN, including those with autism and/or challenging behaviour.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of pupils with SEN.
