Job Title: SEN Teacher - Therapeutic Education Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team at GSL Education. As a Therapeutic Education Specialist, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with severe learning difficulties, including those with autism and/or challenging behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans to meet the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with support staff to provide a comprehensive and therapeutic approach to education
- Assess and scaffold student knowledge and understanding to ensure accurate next steps
- Have high expectations of students and experience of raising achievement
- Understand the complexities of SEN pupils and have a strong track record of outstanding teaching

Requirements:
- QTS and a strong understanding of the learning needs of students with SEN
