We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Sales Manager to enhance our vibrant sales team within a prestigious automotive company. If you are driven by results and possess a wealth of experience in sales management, we would love to connect with you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and distribution channels in emerging markets.
- Lead, train, and inspire our team of Parts Sales Executives to surpass sales targets.
- Ensure the Sales team effectively utilizes the enquiry management system.
- Manage and allocate incoming web and email sales inquiries appropriately.
- Follow up on inquiries with the sales team to ensure timely responses.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and inquiries.
- Contribute to the enhancement of internal processes and lead the implementation of new procedures.
- Oversee customer visits and engage with potential clients as needed.
- Act as a primary liaison between the company and its existing and prospective clients.
- Assist Sales Executives in negotiating agreements and closing sales.
- Collect and analyze market and customer data.
- Represent the company at trade shows and other relevant events.
- Negotiate contracts with potential clients.
- Advise the team on upcoming product innovations and assist in developing targeted marketing campaigns.
- Achieve and exceed departmental sales goals.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations with team members.
- Address and resolve escalated customer service challenges.
- Engage with customers to assess satisfaction and identify further sales opportunities.
- Reconnect with 'lost lead' customers to explore potential sales conversions.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction are maintained.
- Lead weekly sales meetings to discuss performance and strategies.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management regarding sales performance and customer service issues.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in Sales Management within the automotive sector.
- Strong IT proficiency with the ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans.
- Exceptional leadership capabilities, including management experience.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze and interpret market research data.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with a proactive attitude.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with Design, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Production teams to achieve favorable outcomes.
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Education: Bachelor's Degree (strongly preferred)
Experience: High-end sales: 2 years (required), Automotive Industry: 4 years (required)
Compensation: £40,000 with OTE of £65,000
