About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Communications Manager to join our team at Mountain Warehouse Ltd. As a key member of our Learning and Development department, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing a global internal communications plan that inspires, informs, and engages our colleagues.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
  • Manage a content creator to ensure innovative assets are created for multiple platforms, including TikTok, LMS, and Teams.
  • Work closely with the Executive team to create a regular cascade of key business communications, including CEO and Founder messages.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & PR to ensure internal tone of voice is aligned with external customer communications.
  • Deliver day-to-day internal communications activity, creating visibility of key activity across the business.
  • Ensure all communications, including policies and procedures, are consistent across the business.
  • Plan and lead the Social Committee for annual company events.
  • Work with Retail Operations to create a framework for specific store communications.
  • Develop a learning and communication 'in one flow' approach with L&D, upskilling colleagues' understanding of their roles and the business.

**Requirements:**

  • 4+ years of retail communication experience.
  • Experience leading an engagement survey across multi-site & multi-brand business.
  • Strong content creation experience.
  • Understanding of multi-platform approach.
  • Strong copywriting & editorial skills.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Understanding of brand and experience maintaining brand messaging.
  • Creative thinker.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work in an agile environment.
