Main Responsibilities

Operational

  • Lead a team of quality control professionals to ensure accurate and efficient testing, data analysis, and documentation.
  • Monitor performance metrics and collaborate with team members to meet daily targets and improve quality.
  • Develop and implement solutions to address operational challenges and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the lab planning team to deliver high-quality results and meet customer expectations.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, deviations, and other quality-related issues.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure adherence to quality system procedures and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Team Management & Coaching:

  • Supervise and develop a team of quality control professionals, focusing on recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Work with the management team to maintain accurate records and address discipline and motivational issues promptly.
  • Monitor team morale and take proactive steps to address concerns and improve overall job satisfaction.
  • Manage and track Tier SQDC metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Process HR-related documentation for direct reports, including absence, attendance, and performance management.

Requirements

  • Degree in a scientific field (Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field).
  • Familiarity with GMP standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven supervisory experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
