The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Quality Team Leader to lead our QC Operations team and drive operational excellence in our laboratory environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence
    • Organize and manage team resources to meet output and quality requirements.
    • Monitor performance and work with team members to meet daily performance targets.
    • Identify and implement solutions to address issues outside of direct control.
    • Deliver operational requirements to the lab planning team.
    • Ensure on-time and 'right first time' delivery of team activities.
    • Raise, own, and progress DR/OOS investigations and CAPA plans.
    • Review analytical and laboratory data for accuracy, completion, and compliance.
    • Conduct relevant training and manage development of team skills and knowledge.
    • Ensure quality system procedures are followed and maintained.
    • Promote a quality consciousness culture within the team.
  • Team Management & Coaching
    • Supervise human resources effectively to ensure recruitment, training, appraisals, and discipline are coordinated.
    • Work with the management team to maintain records and respond to discipline and motivational issues.
    • Actively gauge team morale and take action to address issues and provide support.
    • Maintain Tier SQDC tracking boards and identify action plans.
    • Manage and process HR-related and departmental documentation.
    • Encourage a working environment that encompasses PCI's core values and behaviors.

Requirements

  • Degree educated in a scientific subject (preferably Chemistry, Microbiology).
  • Familiar with GMP Standards.
  • Similar level supervisory experience within a pharmaceutical laboratory environment.
  • Customer-facing experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of IT (e.g. Microsoft).
