About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Quality Specialist to join our team at the boohoo Group. As a key member of our Garment Technology department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Quality Processes: Develop and implement effective quality processes to ensure products meet commercial standards and customer expectations.
  • Product Ownership: Take ownership of product quality and performance, working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate quality expectations into product development.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct risk assessments and implement preventative measures to mitigate potential quality issues, ensuring products sold meet Boohoo's commitment to delivering exceptional quality, safety, and value to customers.
  • Performance Metrics: Regularly report performance metrics to management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance product quality and reduce returns.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a product quality role, ideally within an online fashion retailer or supplier.
  • Quality Standards: Good understanding of product quality standards, regulatory requirements, and testing methodologies.
  • Commercial Fit: Experienced in managing commercial fit and product approval processes within a fast-paced, competitive market.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive informed decisions.
  • Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
