Energy Futures Trader

Marex Spectron is a leading global financial services platform, providing essential liquidity, market access, and infrastructure services to clients in the energy, commodities, and financial markets.
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious individual to join our team as an Energy Futures Trader. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of the energy futures markets and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities- Market Execution: Execute trades in Exchange Traded Energy Futures and Options, with a focus on Brent, WTI, and Oil products.
- Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including banks, hedge funds, market makers, fund managers, institutionals, and trading houses.
- Onboarding and Support: Assist with the onboarding of new client relationships and provide support to existing clients as required.
- Efficiency and Productivity: Work efficiently to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase productivity.
- Collaboration and Strategy: Collaborate with central operations functions to support the trading role and develop strategies to increase profitability.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adhere to the operational risk framework for the role.
- Professional Development: Demonstrate the highest level of integrity and conduct, reflecting the company's values and adhering to the FCA's Code of Conduct.

- Market Knowledge: Substantial experience working in and knowledge of ICE and CME Energy Futures.
