We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Nurse to join our Bladder and Bowel Care Service in the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Nurse, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with bladder and bowel conditions, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of patients with bladder and bowel conditions, providing holistic assessment and treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care, including Pelvic Health Physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and maintain expertise in bladder and bowel care, staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices.
- Provide education and training to patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals on bladder and bowel care.
- Contribute to the development of service policies and procedures, ensuring they are evidence-based and effective.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong clinical skills and experience in bladder and bowel care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and locations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
