Position Overview

The Lead Nurse for Virtual Care will collaborate closely with the Senior Nurse to guide and coordinate the efforts of the multi-disciplinary team within the virtual care setting, ensuring the provision of exceptional, safe, and compassionate healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing professional guidance and management to ensure immediate care for patients, both through virtual consultations and in-person interactions.
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients, while offering support and direction to patients and their families.
  • Being accountable for the quality of care delivered within the virtual ward, while promoting innovative approaches to patient engagement and care pathways.
  • Demonstrating a strong commitment to enhancing patient care through professional and clinical practices, in alignment with the standards set by nursing and midwifery regulatory bodies.
  • Acting as a role model, consistently embodying the values of the organization: Safe, Kind, and Excellent.
