Regional Sales Director

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the Southern UK region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our market presence in the municipal and wastewater industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of Technical Sales Engineers to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to broaden our customer base and enhance our market presence.
- Foster long-term relationships with large accounts, focusing on account growth and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft tailored solutions that meet client specifications.
- Oversee the entire sales process, from initial client engagement through to order fulfillment and project completion.
- Regularly assess sales performance, providing detailed reports to senior management.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for new business ventures.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Proven track record in sales management within the technical or engineering sectors, particularly in related water/chemical processing industries.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing high-performing, technical sales teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with a comprehensive understanding of the sales lifecycle from conception to delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and expand large accounts with a strategic focus on long-term relationship building.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the South of the UK to support major accounts and sales activities.
- A competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 base.
