International Construction Broker: Boost Revenue and Margin

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our office. As a Senior International Construction Broker, you will be responsible for defending and increasing revenue and margin by developing and delivering new reinsurance opportunities as well as servicing existing clients with the International Construction team.
Key Responsibilities:- Placement Design: Develop and deliver new reinsurance opportunities, including likely pricing, coverage enhancements, and market capacity.
- Negotiation and Marketing: Negotiate the best prices and market drawing on existing knowledge and expertise.
- Client Satisfaction and Retention: Ensure ongoing client satisfaction, retention, and profitability.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Lead Client Teams and project groups to deliver strategic growth initiatives, responses to competitive tenders, and complex, high-value deals.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a trusted advisor for subject matter-specific issues both internally and externally.
- Documentation Review: Review and quality-check reinsurance documentation at a predetermined stage in the process to establish whether the selected coverage accurately reflects clients' reinsurance requirements.
We are seeking an experienced professional with:
- Extensive Experience: Extensive experience in reinsurance broking or technical and analytical underwriting experience, including project and account management experience on large Construction accounts and large/mega onshore construction projects.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills.
- Communication Skills: Inspires commitment and action in others (both internally and externally) through strong communication skills.
- Adaptability: Considers the underwriter's perspective to adapt broking approach.
- Research and Development: Invests time and resource in Research & Development to find new opportunities/solutions to meet clients' needs.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
