We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at R&V Group Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with sensory needs, helping them to develop intentional communication and interaction skills and behaviours.
This is a term-time role, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Support students with sensory needs, providing individualized assistance to help them reach their full potential.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote intentional communication and interaction skills and behaviours.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sensory-based programs and activities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of sensory learners and their needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
