Forensic Mental Health Assistant Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Higher Assistant Psychologist to join our Community Forensic Psychiatry Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and treatment to individuals with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Senior Psychologists with assessments, formulation, and planning of psychological interventions.
- Provide direct psychological interventions to service users under supervision.
- Review and audit notes, summarizing essential information.
- Contribute to risk assessments and gather information as part of multi-agency processes.
- Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings, CPA reviews, and ward rounds.
- Gain experience in professional psychology within the NHS and contribute to research and service evaluations.
- Upper second-class honors degree or higher in psychology.
- Graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
- Experience working with people with serious mental disorders, learning disability, and complex presentations.
- Experience completing specialized psychological assessments.
- Knowledge of psychological interventions and risk management.
