About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care and Support Assistant to join our team at McCarthy Stone's Stiperstones Court development in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

As a Care Assistant, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their later life to the fullest. Your duties will include delivering housekeeping and domestic support, supporting residents with daily activities, and promoting their health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care and support to residents
  • Deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the general estate
  • Support residents with daily activities, such as booking appointments and arranging transport
  • Promote residents' health and wellbeing through various activities and support
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of UK Health and Social care experience
  • Warm and friendly individual with experience of working in a care or support environment
  • Passion for making a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a busy work setting
