About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hazardous Waste Site Chemist / Graduate to join our reputable client, a leading company in the field of hazardous waste management. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of hazardous waste in a processing yard environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload and test incoming materials for pH, flammability, and compatibility for bulking
  • Ensure all goods are correctly labelled and complete all relevant paperwork
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies
  • Operate a forklift truck (training given)
Requirements
  • Minimum HNC in Chemistry or a related field such as Biology or Forensics
  • Experience in hazardous waste management or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Qualifications
  • Forklift Truck (FLT) License
