Job Title: Behaviour Assistant - Behaviour Support Specialist
This role involves working as a Behaviour Assistant - Behaviour Support Specialist on a full or half day basis, challenging and motivating pupils, reinforcing self-esteem and providing pastoral support. This contributes to raising achievement and attendance, to ensure schools meet their attendance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement positive behaviour management.
- Work well with the classroom teacher.
- Support pupils with SEN.
- Adjust approach to changes in behaviour with SEN pupils.
- Show a positive attitude.
- Be reliable.
- Understand and follow safeguarding procedures.
Requirements:
- Appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
- Valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
