The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean designated areas, including sweeping and mopping of floors, and ensuring all surfaces are hygienically cleaned.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, including fridges, shelving, food preparation areas, cupboards, and trolleys.
  • Prepare the dishwasher for daily use and report any faults or chemical requisitions to the manager.
  • Ensure all dirty crockery and cutlery is cleared from service racks, washed, and stacked correctly or taken to the appropriate outlet.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of designated machines and equipment, adhering to all legislative requirements.

Requirements

  • A passion for delivering quality food using fresh ingredients to specification.
