ABOUT THE ROLE

The position of Retail Associate is the initial step on our retail career development path. Essential to the daily operations of the store, you often serve as the first point of contact for our customers. This role is vital in driving sales by delivering an exceptional customer experience that surpasses expectations, standards, and operational guidelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Engagement

  • Foster an engaging customer relationship by sharing authentic experiences, personal interests, and adventures.
  • Effectively communicate our product range's unique selling points through personal experience and technical knowledge.
  • Maintain openness and honesty in all interactions, taking appropriate actions to ensure high standards of customer service.
  • Build a loyal customer base and positive relationships within the Finisterre community, promoting your store as a community hub through events and initiatives.

Commercial Success

  • Contribute to the store's commercial achievements by meeting sales targets and key performance indicators. Embrace challenges with a positive attitude.
  • Exceed customer expectations and maximize sales potential through effective multi-channel offerings.
  • Assist in the timely execution of all product launches, promotions, and campaigns in-store.

Operational Excellence

  • Enhance conversion rates by ensuring adherence to visual merchandising and presentation standards at all times.
  • Maintain high security through attentive service and awareness of the shop floor, ensuring compliance with all security protocols.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations consistently.
  • Uphold a high standard of cleanliness throughout the store and back of house.
  • Ensure the shop floor is consistently well-stocked through effective replenishment practices.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of operations by seeking more efficient practices and providing feedback to store management.

Team Collaboration

  • Actively engage with the team by assisting others and fostering positive relationships throughout the store.
  • Take responsibility for personal development and seek opportunities for growth through various resources.
  • Comply with all current policies and procedures established by Finisterre.
