Shift Pattern:
Our St. Ives site operates on the following shift rotation:
2 Days on, 1 Day off, 2 Nights on, 4 Days off, 3 Days on, 1 Half-Day (Saturday Morning), 1 Day off, 3 Nights on, 4 Days off
Shifts are scheduled from 6 AM - 6 PM / 6 PM - 6 AM, with a half-day shift from 6 AM - 12 PM on Saturdays.
What is the role?
As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the production of high-quality concrete products in our dual-block facility. Your role will involve utilizing advanced technology and methodologies while prioritizing health and safety in all operations. You will primarily engage with concrete products, operating machinery, hand tools, shot blast equipment, and mobile plant machinery such as forklifts to manage stock throughout the site.
Throughout your journey, you will acquire knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, quality control, and operational efficiency. This role offers the opportunity for skill development and career progression, leading to increased compensation over time.
Effective communication is essential, as you will need to relay accurate information during handovers and collaborate with maintenance personnel and team leaders.
No prior experience in our industry is necessary; we are committed to providing comprehensive training. All we seek is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Essential Skills:
Experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not mandatory A forklift truck license and relevant experience would be beneficial Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Flexibility regarding shift rotations or night shifts is required Basic computer skills are necessary Qualifications such as Safe to Supervise or IOSH would be advantageous but not essential
