About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Preparedness Specialist to join our team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our Safety and EPRR Team, you will play a critical role in driving forward our work in emergency preparedness and response.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective emergency plans and procedures to ensure compliance with national, regional, and local guidance.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on emergency preparedness and response to the organisation and participating in system emergency planning meetings.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of training and exercising programmes to ensure staff are equipped to respond to emergencies.
  • Act as a key point of contact for emergency preparedness matters within the organisation, providing support and guidance to staff.
  • Collaborate with multi-agency partners across the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland health economy and wider Local Resilience Forum to ensure effective emergency planning arrangements.
