We are seeking an experienced EPRR Advisor to join our Safety and EPRR Team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving forward our work in Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in EPRR, with experience in developing and delivering EPRR annual work plans, leading EPRR training and exercising programmes, and ensuring compliance with NHS England's Core Standards for EPRR.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate emergency plans and business continuity plans, working closely with clinical and corporate departments to ensure effective and up-to-date plans are in place.
- Provide advice, guidance, training, and support to the organisation on emergency preparedness matters, participating in system emergency planning meetings.
- Maintain up-to-date policies, plans, and guidelines, coordinate required reporting, and distribute key information across the organisation.
- Ensure full EPRR compliance as directed under the NHS England Framework, ensuring all core standards are satisfactorily complied with.
- Manage the Operations hub in line with the Integrated Care Board System Co-ordination Centre policy, coordinating incoming communications and ensuring these are communicated to the relevant Directorates and key senior leads in the Trust.
- Have responsibility and accountability for ensuring effective and efficient responses are made in the event of a major incident.
